We’re hiring!

Herrera Strategy is hiring!

We're looking for two people who want to be in the fight for immigrant rights, universal human rights (including for Palestine), and workers' rights, and who understand these are all the same fight.

We are adding a Communications & Advocacy Manager and an Organizing & Advocacy Fellow to our team to expand our capacity and grow our impact.

We've built this firm over six years on the conviction that we can build a company that strengthens our movement by being scrappy, punching above our weight, and delivering real results for our clients and the communities they serve.

We don't waste our time chasing big paychecks, instead we work our way into the fights that matter, finding clients that we're aligned with who we can work alongside to fight for the causes we believe in.

Part of how we punch above our weight is staying curious and moving fast on new tools. They're reshaping how this work gets done, and a team that learns quickly can do the work of one many times its size.

In just the past few years we have passed major policies that have secured equal pay for equal work for day and temporary laborers and protected immigrant workers from having their immigration status weaponized against them.

We stood up for Palestinian human rights, advancing the anti-BDS repeal in Springfield at a moment that nobody else in Springfield was willing to take up the fight and when Midway Blitz hit Chicago last fall, we stood with The Resurrection Project, managing months of non-stop crisis communications to make sure our people had the information they needed to stay safe.

We're not looking for someone who wants to do this work. We're looking for someone who needs to. We want to be an accelerator for that person who is determined to make change happen no matter what.

Someone who's a sharp writer and a careful editor, a creative thinker with a critical eye. Someone who can break down what's complicated and reach the people who feel hardest to reach. Someone who owns their work and answers for it, to the team, to our clients, and to the communities we serve. Someone curious enough to experiment and quick enough to learn on the fly.

If that's you, come build with us.
